Harald Gatermann is Professor of Digital Media, Design and Construction at HS Bochum University of Applied Sciences and Founding Member of the BIM Institute Bochum and the Master programme Architecture Media Management. He was dean of the faculty for four years and vice president of the university for another four years.
Born in Lemgo, Germany, Harald gained his architecture diploma at the University of Stuttgart. For seven years he worked as assistant professor at Braunschweig University of Technology.
Harald has published several books on architectural design and some architecture guides. His field of research was architectural and panorama photography in combination with virtual and augmented reality. He has presented his work on several conferences organised by Caadria, Ecaade, and Sigradi. He was a member of IVAR and is a founding member of AK:AI.
